A Little About
​Myself.

​My name is Dawson Craig I am a junior magnet engineer at AHS. From building Legos and Kinect roller coasters as a kid to building working trebuchets and hydraulic claws more recently engineering has always been a major interest for me. As an eighth grader I applied for the magnet program not really knowing what I was getting in to but knowing it was something I was highly interested in. Joining the magnet program has allowed me to explore my interests in engineering due to the engineering classes, hands on projects, and face to face meetings with engineers we've had while providing rigorous classes to prepare me for college. I have played baseball for 3 years now for the high school and am a three-year varsity letter. As a student athlete I have been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA and stive to continue to uphold that. 

Extracurricular

 I play baseball for the high school and have since freshman year. Playing baseball has taught me many valuable lessons that I can carry throughout life into college and my career.

Experience 

Throughout my three years of high school, I have taken three engineering​ classes with three different focus points. These classes I have provided me with many opportunities to meet with engineers, company's, conduct projects with many different materials, fail, succeed, and overall learn and grow.
